Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its Scottsdale, AZ office. This role offers the opportunity to manage litigation cases from inception to resolution, gain courtroom experience, and develop practical legal skills in a supportive, hands-on environment. Duties

  • Represent secured creditors in non-judicial and judicial property reclamation, litigation, replevins, evictions, surplus funds, and title resolution.
  • Provide legal representation throughout all stages of litigation, including virtual and in-person hearings.
  • Develop and execute case strategies based on legal analysis and procedural requirements.
  • Communicate with clients regarding case status, timelines, and procedural updates.
  • Oversee case documentation and ensure accurate and timely filings.
  • May perform other duties as assigned to support department goals.
  • May occasionally work extended hours based on operational needs.

Requirements

  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Commitment to collaboration, professional growth, and contributing to a positive office environment.
  • Effective time management and the ability to prioritize tasks with attention to detail while managing a high volume of active cases.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in Arizona.
  • Member in good standing with the Arizona Bar.
