Job Overview:
A law firm based in Salinas, CA, is seeking an experienced attorney to join its team through a recruitment partner. This opportunity involves working on complex matters across business, corporate, and real estate transactions. The position is available for in-person or hybrid work in the Salinas region, with access to additional office locations in Hollister and Monterey.

Duties:

• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts, leases, and transactional documents

• Manage entity formation and governance processes for business clients

• Advise on mergers, acquisitions, and business restructuring

• Handle transactions involving the sale and purchase of commercial real estate

• Guide intellectual property protections and trademark matters

• Liaise with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure compliance with regulatory and legal obligations

• Conduct legal research, prepare memoranda, and offer strategic counsel on transactional risks

• Support general business advisory and transactional planning initiatives

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in business, corporate, and real estate law

• Demonstrated success in handling complex legal transactions and negotiations

• Ability to manage multiple matters concurrently with precision and efficiency

• Strong drafting, analytical, and client-relations capabilities

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team structure

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license in good standing with the California State Bar
