Houston office of our client seeks a trial associate attorney with 0-2 years of personal injury experience. The candidate will communicate with clients to learn about their legal needs and concerns and provide advice. Work on personal injury cases to secure compensation on behalf of clients. Develop strategies to resolve cases favorably and cost-effectively for clients. Explain legal options to clients while bringing possible outcomes to their attention. Build relationships with clients based on trust. Represent clients in civil litigation proceedings. Prepare legal documents such as motions, subpoenas, responses and demands accurately and in a timely manner. Stay informed about current legislation. Find ethical solutions to legal matters. Work independently or collaboratively with a team of attorneys to develop case strategies. Admitted to practice in Federal Courts preferred. Must be a member, in good standing, of the Texas Bar.

The candidate must have a JD degree. Must have excellent organizational and writing skills. Must have excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Must have a high level of experience, comfort, and ability with technology. Extensive discovery and trial work are required. Must have a fundamental knowledge of how to draft pleadings, conduct civil discovery, depositions, mediations, develop case strategy, trial preparations and trials. Must have ability to interpret and apply constitutional provisions, statutes, administrative regulations, court decisions, and other precedents. Must have ability to analyze facts, evidence, and legal instruments. Must have ability to express conclusions and arguments clearly and logically in oral and written form.
