Job Overview

A law firm seeks a skilled Associate Attorney to join its Las Vegas office. This role involves handling business transactions and litigation, providing strategic legal support, and working closely with clients. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple legal matters while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and client service.

Duties

  • Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.

  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic analysis on business transactions and litigation cases.

  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and negotiations.

  • Develop case strategies and collaborate with attorneys at all levels to ensure effective legal representation.

  • Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing updates and legal guidance.

  • Foster and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective clients.

  • Ensure adherence to firm policies, legal procedures, and ethical standards.

  • Handle additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in business transactions and litigation.

  • Strong legal writing, drafting, and advocacy skills.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple cases effectively while meeting deadlines.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement.

  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and strategic approach to legal matters.

  • Capable of working independently and as part of a collaborative legal team.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Nevada and in good standing with the Nevada State Bar.

Skills

  • Proficiency in legal research and case analysis.

  • Strong negotiation and dispute resolution capabilities.

  • Effective time management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold legal ethics.
