A law firm seeks a skilled Associate Attorney to join its Las Vegas office. Duties

  • Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.

  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic analysis on business transactions and litigation cases.

  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and negotiations.

  • Develop case strategies and collaborate with attorneys at all levels to ensure effective legal representation.

  • Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing updates and legal guidance.

  • Foster and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective clients.

  • Ensure adherence to firm policies, legal procedures, and ethical standards.

  • Handle additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in business transactions and litigation.

  • Strong legal writing, drafting, and advocacy skills.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple cases effectively while meeting deadlines.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement.

  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and strategic approach to legal matters.

  • Capable of working independently and as part of a collaborative legal team.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Nevada and in good standing with the Nevada State Bar.
