Job Overview

A leading law firm is seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Hospitality Senior Associate to join its nationally recognized Hospitality, Travel & Tourism practice. This position focuses on advising a broad range of clients on operational matters, including marketing, distribution, procurement, privacy, and IT/IS agreements. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with a nationally respected practice chair and a diverse clientele of hotels, resorts, cruise lines, travel agencies, and restaurants.

Duties

  • Advise hospitality and travel industry clients on operational and transactional matters

  • Draft, negotiate, and review contracts related to marketing, distribution, and procurement

  • Counsel clients on IT/IS agreements with a focus on privacy and data security issues

  • Provide guidance on intellectual property matters related to the travel and hospitality sectors

  • Collaborate closely with other attorneys and legal support teams

  • Develop client relationships through a client-centric and business-minded approach

  • Support practice group initiatives and business development activities

Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years of commercial transactions experience

  • Experience working within the lodging or travel industries in marketing, distribution, and procurement

  • Prior exposure to privacy and data security issues strongly preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to manage significant client responsibilities independently

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

Skills

  • Exceptional legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills

  • Strong client relationship management skills

  • High level of professional judgment and decision-making ability

  • Ability to multitask and manage complex, deadline-driven matters
