Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney for a full-time, on-site role in Greater Houston. The Associate Attorney will provide legal advice and representation, conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and advocate on behalf of clients, focusing on business immigration law.

Duties

  • Provide legal advice and representation in business immigration matters.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and prepare legal documents.
  • Advocate on behalf of clients in various legal settings.
  • Assist with business immigration law matters, including E-1, E-2, L-1, O-1, TN, P, EB-1, EB-2, PERMs, and EB-5.
  • Analyze legal issues and collaborate with legal assistants to meet clients' needs effectively.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and expertise in business immigration law.
  • Experience in providing legal advice and conducting research.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in a law firm or relevant legal role is preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admittance to the bar in Texas or California.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
