Job Overview

A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a qualified Immigration Associate with a minimum of two years of business immigration experience to join its Labor & Employment practice group. This position supports a dynamic and collaborative immigration team across multiple U.S. office locations and offers opportunities for professional growth, client interaction, and high-level legal work in a supportive environment.

Location

  • Tampa, FL

Duties

  • Handle business immigration matters, including:

    • PERM labor certification applications

    • H-1B and L-1 visa petitions

  • Draft and review legal documents and filings for employment-based immigration cases

  • Manage communications with clients regarding strategy, documentation, and compliance

  • Conduct legal research and prepare memos and briefs on immigration law topics

  • Collaborate with partners and other associates on complex immigration cases

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of business immigration experience

  • Experience with PERM, H-1B, and L-1 processes required

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Demonstrated commitment to client service and responsiveness

  • Ability to handle a high-volume caseload efficiently and independently

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

  • Strong academic record required

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

  • In good standing with the applicable state bar
