Job Overview:
A reputable and well-established law firm specializing in commercial, insurance, and real estate litigation and transactional law is seeking a highly motivated Litigation Associate Attorney. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with strong litigation experience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The attorney will work closely with senior partners and administrative staff to provide top-tier legal services to clients.

Location:

  • Denver, CO

Duties:

  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including arguing motions and examining witnesses at trial

  • Brief and argue dispositive and discovery motions

  • Take and defend depositions

  • Conduct legal research and draft high-quality legal documents

  • Provide strategic legal counsel based on client needs and case assessments

  • Supervise and collaborate with paralegals, law clerks, and administrative team

  • Guide administrative staff on billing, client meetings, invoicing, and finalizing projects

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience representing clients in a law firm setting

  • Comfortable managing a heavy caseload independently

  • Familiarity with federal and state procedural rules

  • Must be a member in good standing of the local bar (active status preferred)

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active bar membership in the relevant jurisdiction

Skills:

  • Excellent legal writing and research capabilities

  • Strong verbal communication and courtroom advocacy skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to make sound legal decisions independently

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
