Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking a Junior/Mid-Level Real Estate Associate with 2-6 years of commercial real estate experience. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in various aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and leasing of commercial properties. While experience in real estate finance and development is a plus, it is not a requirement. A background at a large law firm is preferred.

Location:
Dallas, Texas

Duties:

  • Handle commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and leasing.
  • Provide legal support in the negotiation and documentation of purchase and sale agreements.
  • Assist in due diligence processes and title and survey review.
  • Draft and negotiate commercial lease agreements.
  • Work collaboratively with senior attorneys on complex real estate matters.
  • Support clients in the financing and development of commercial real estate projects.

Requirements:

  • 2-6 years of commercial real estate experience (classes of 2019-2023).
  • Strong experience in acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and commercial leasing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas (or eligible for admission).

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research and drafting.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of real estate finance and development is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
