Job Overview

A prominent national law firm is seeking a skilled associate attorney with at least two years of experience in business immigration law. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative, multi-office team within a well-established Labor and Employment practice. The ideal candidate will bring technical proficiency, a strong academic background, and a client-focused mindset to a high-performing legal team.

Location

Duties

  • Represent corporate clients in employment-based immigration matters

  • Prepare and manage cases including:

    • PERM labor certifications

    • H-1B visa petitions

    • L-1 visa applications

  • Communicate with government agencies and clients on filings and strategies

  • Draft detailed legal documents and review case materials

  • Collaborate with attorneys across offices on complex immigration matters

  • Advise clients on immigration policies and compliance

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in business immigration law

  • Familiarity with the PERM process, H-1B, and L-1 visa classifications

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines

  • Client-focused approach and strong interpersonal communication skills

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

  • Strong academic credentials preferred

Certifications

  • Active and in good standing with the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
