Litigation Associate

Job Overview:
A respected civil litigation firm is seeking a full-time Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Denver-area practice. This role is focused on insurance defense and requires a seasoned litigator capable of managing a caseload independently. The ideal candidate will have strong writing, research, and case strategy skills, as well as a solid foundation in Colorado litigation procedures. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment handling diverse and complex matters.

Location:

• Englewood, Colorado

Duties:

• Handle a caseload of insurance defense matters from inception to resolution

• Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and legal memoranda

• Conduct legal research and analyze case law, statutes, and regulations

• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials

• Communicate with clients, adjusters, opposing counsel, and court personnel

• Collaborate with legal support staff to meet case deadlines and goals

• Develop and implement litigation strategy for assigned cases

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably insurance defense

• Ability to independently manage multiple cases

• Strong understanding of Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure

• Demonstrated success in case strategy and courtroom experience

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Colorado (required)
