Associate - Aviation Liability

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate specializing in Aviation Liability to join its team in Los Angeles, Irvine, or San Francisco, with flexibility for other California locations. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of litigation experience, particularly in aviation and product liability, and will be adept at managing cases independently through discovery and trial phases.

Duties

• Take depositions, argue motions, and attend court hearings and mediations.
• Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Conduct complex legal research and draft memoranda.
• Prepare status reports and recommendations for clients.
• Review document collections for litigation preparation.
• Manage all aspects of litigation from initial pleadings to trial.

Requirements

• Experience in aviation and/or product liability preferred.
• Discovery and Law and Motion experience required.
• State and Federal court experience necessary.
• Excellent academic credentials and work history.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in California.
