Job Overview
A law firm seeks a highly qualified Real Estate Associate to join its Affordable Housing and Community Development Practice Group in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in multifamily and/or commercial real estate, particularly in financing affordable multifamily real estate deals.

Duties

  • Draft transactional documents for real estate deals.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members on affordable housing projects.
  • Advise on agency financing programs and HUD subsidy programs.
  • Engage in tax-exempt bond financing and low-income housing tax credits.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in multifamily and/or commercial real estate.
  • Experience with Freddie Mac and/or Fannie Mae financing.
  • Admitted to the DC bar or eligible to waive in.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the DC bar.
