A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Addison, TX, to join its civil defense litigation practice. The firm represents businesses, property owners, and insurers in various civil litigation matters across Texas. Duties

• Manage an active litigation docket from intake through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and dispositive briefing.
• Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and participate in mediations.
• Work closely with clients, adjusters, and co-counsel to develop defense strategies.
• Support trial teams in state and federal courts across Texas.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Texas law license in good standing.
• 2-4 years of experience in civil litigation (defense experience preferred).
• Knowledge of laws related to personal injury litigation, legal codes, and court procedures.
• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases with attention to detail and deadlines.

• Juris Doctorate
