Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Leveraged Finance Associate to join its team in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have a focus on fund finance and private credit transactions, with a minimum of four years of relevant experience. This role involves working with lead arrangers, direct lenders, sub line lenders, NAV lenders, borrowers, issuers, and corporates.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
  • Draft well-reasoned legal documents, including briefs and contracts.
  • Assist in managing complex cases from inception to resolution.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative strategies.
  • Participate in high-level legal activities such as trials and negotiations.
  • Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of four years of experience in leveraged finance.
  • Experience with AmLaw 100 firm preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.

Education

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice in the state of Pennsylvania.
