Project Finance Junior Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a junior associate to join its Financial Services Practice in New York. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in project finance, including experience with both lender and borrower sides. The role involves drafting and closing various financial and legal documents.

Duties

• Draft credit facilities, depositary accounts agreements, and letters of credit.
• Prepare performance and payment bonds.
• Draft balance of plant agreements and supply agreements.
• Work on offtake and tolling agreements.
• Draft and close security documents and legal opinions.
• Prepare due diligence reports and bankability analysis.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in project finance.
• Familiarity with LSTA Credit Agreements and New York law-governed documents.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong academic credentials.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New York or eligible for licensure.
