Mid-Senior Labor & Employment Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-senior labor & employment associate for its Irvine, CA office. The position offers the opportunity to work with diverse clients across various industries, providing comprehensive legal counsel and representation in labor and employment matters.

Duties

• Represent employers in wage and hour compliance, employment discrimination, and sexual harassment cases.
• Handle class and individual employment matters, including retaliation and leaves of absence.
• Advise on employee accommodations, personnel policies, and employment agreements.
• Engage in wage & hour class action and PAGA litigation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in labor & employment law.
• Strong interpersonal, writing, and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and initiative to take ownership of work.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the California State Bar.

Skills

• Proficiency in legal research and writing.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
