Job Overview:
A San Francisco-based law firm is seeking a skilled Litigation Associate with at least three years of experience to join its dynamic legal team. This role offers broad exposure to high-stakes litigation involving commercial conflicts, securities disputes, shareholder derivative actions, and white-collar investigations. The ideal candidate brings a combination of sharp analytical abilities, excellent writing proficiency, and a commitment to strategic client advocacy.

Duties:

• Support a broad litigation practice encompassing commercial, securities, and class action disputes

• Draft legal memoranda, motions, and pleadings across various stages of litigation

• Manage and execute discovery processes, including document review and depositions

• Analyze complex legal and factual issues in high-value matters

• Assist with internal corporate investigations and white-collar defense

• Appear in court and prepare materials for hearings and potential trials

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant litigation experience in a law firm or comparable setting

• Proven ability to handle complex legal matters with minimal oversight

• Strong legal writing, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Demonstrated experience working on securities litigation or white-collar matters is a plus

• Active Bar membership in California

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the California State Bar

Skills:

• Advanced legal research and drafting proficiency
