A law firm seeks a skilled Family Law Associate Attorney in Atlanta, GA, to manage domestic cases from inception through resolution. This hybrid role involves drafting legal documents, representing clients in court, and developing strategic litigation plans.

Duties

• Conduct client meetings, including initial consultations.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and court orders for divorce, child custody, and support cases.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies tailored to client objectives.
• Negotiate settlement agreements and resolve disputes.
• Apply Georgia law, including local court rules and state statutes.
• Manage cases from inception to closure.
• Collaborate with and delegate tasks to support staff.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of prior experience in family law litigation.
• Familiarity with various legal documents and procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build rapport with clients and provide empathetic support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree.
