Duties

  • Open new files and initiate client contact, maintaining regular communication.
  • Investigate cases, gather and analyze relevant documents, and enter data into the database.
  • Verify insurance coverage and maintain contact with insurance companies.
  • Manage client medical care and coordinate with medical providers.
  • Monitor case status and review medical records.
  • Organize and maintain case files for submission to demand writers.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Workers Compensation experience.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for client and vendor relationships.
  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in phone communication for extended periods.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Consistent attendance, reliability, and integrity.
  • Basic knowledge of medical and insurance terminology is a plus.
  • Spanish speaking is a plus.

Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • JD from an accredited university.
  • GA Bar Admission.
