Civil Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm seeks an experienced Civil Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing practice in Tulsa, OK. The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of civil litigation experience and be licensed to practice law in Oklahoma. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior attorneys while managing a variety of cases. The firm is looking for someone who is self-motivated, organized, and able to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced legal environment.

Duties:

• Assist senior attorneys in providing top-tier legal representation in civil litigation matters.
• Manage and prioritize multiple cases simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents with precision.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
• Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
• Collaborate with colleagues across various practice areas to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.

Requirements:

• 2-6 years of experience in civil litigation.
• Licensed to practice law in Oklahoma.
• Strong ability to manage a busy caseload independently while maintaining high standards of work.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Effective communicator, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the State Bar of Oklahoma.

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of civil litigation processes and procedures.
• Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
