Duties

  • Draft, review, and negotiate health care-related contracts and legal documents.
  • Research and advise on health care regulatory topics, including fraud and abuse laws and health information privacy.
  • Support due diligence for health care transactions.
  • Assist clients with self-disclosures and compliance assessments.
  • Develop legal memoranda, client advisories, and internal guidance documents.
  • Participate in client meetings and translate legal risks into practical solutions.
  • Collaborate with team members and manage deadlines effectively.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice (or eligibility) in Oregon and/or Washington.
  • 2+ years of experience advising health care clients on regulatory and compliance matters.
  • Knowledge of the U.S. health care industry.
  • Strong analytical, research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with legal research databases and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, team-based environment.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to practice (or eligibility) in Oregon and/or Washington.
