Duties

  • Stay informed on legal developments through ongoing training.

Requirements

  • High energy and enthusiasm for client service.
  • Experience in drafting and arguing motions, including post-conviction motions.
  • Minimum of 10 felony jury trials and preliminary hearings.
  • Admission to the California Bar and good standing.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Alameda County and the Bay Area.
  • Knowledge of online case management systems.
  • Dedication to zealous client advocacy.

Education

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the State Bar of California.

Skills

  • Strong advocacy and communication skills.
  • Ability to mentor and lead junior staff.
  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
  • Fluency in a second language is a plus.
