A law firm seeks an Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Associate in San Francisco, CA. Duties

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support transactions.
  • Draft clear and precise legal documents, including memos and contracts.
  • Assist in managing complex cases and transactions from start to finish.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional support and advice.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative transaction strategies.
  • Participate in high-level legal activities, including client meetings and negotiations.
  • Ensure compliance with legal standards and stay updated on legal precedents.
  • Engage in professional development to enhance legal and leadership skills.
  • Contribute to firm programs, civic organizations, and pro bono work.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and good business judgment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Conceptual thinking and persuasive communication skills.
  • Management skills are a plus.

Education

  • JD from an accredited law school (LLM in Tax and/or Employee Benefits Certificate preferred).

  • Admitted to practice in the state of employment.
