Job Overview
A law firm seeks an Employment and Labor Associate with 3-4 years of experience to join their team in Hartford, CT. The ideal candidate will have a background in employment litigation and experience representing employers in various labor and employment-related matters.

Duties

  • Represent employers in state and federal court litigation.
  • Conduct legal research and draft employment-related policies and agreements.
  • Advise clients on labor relations and employment law matters.
  • Conduct internal investigations and counsel on non-compete litigation.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of employment and labor litigation experience.
  • Excellent legal research and client service skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Bar admission in good standing in CT or NJ; NY, PA, or MA is a plus.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice.

Skills
