Civil Litigation Associate

A law firm seeks a Civil Litigation Associate in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to manage all aspects of litigation for its civil practice on an in-person basis.

Duties

• Oversee case preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.

• Represent clients at hearings, depositions, and trials in Puerto Rico courts.

• Conduct legal research and prepare briefs, memoranda, and client updates.

• Coordinate with colleagues to develop litigation strategies and maintain case files.

Requirements

• Active membership in the Puerto Rico Bar; Notary Public and Federal Bar admission recommended.

• 4–5 years of civil litigation experience.

• Fluency in Spanish and English for oral and written communications.

• Ability to work full-time on-site in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Puerto Rico Bar.
