Job Overview

A law firm seeks a junior to midlevel Healthcare Associate to join its healthcare practice group in Seattle, Washington. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience and a demonstrated interest in health law, including areas such as healthcare regulatory and compliance matters, reimbursement, fraud and abuse, medical staff, healthcare contracting, HIPAA, or telemedicine.

Duties

  • Provide legal counsel on healthcare regulatory and compliance matters.
  • Draft and review healthcare contracts and agreements.
  • Advise on reimbursement, fraud, and abuse issues.
  • Collaborate with medical staff on legal matters.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and telemedicine regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of relevant legal experience.
  • Strong legal writing and contract drafting skills.
  • Excellent oral communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Membership in the Washington State Bar or eligibility to become a member.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Washington State Bar membership or eligibility.
