Duties

• Represent clients in depositions, court hearings, mediations, and legal proceedings.
• Manage complex commercial litigation cases, including breach of contract and intellectual property disputes.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to provide solutions to clients' problems.
• Draft legal pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents.
• Provide ongoing legal advice on risk management and compliance.
• Engage in settlement negotiations to resolve disputes favorably.
• Collaborate with attorneys, legal staff, and corporate clients on litigation strategies.
• Oversee all aspects of litigation, including trial and post-trial procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of client work and track billable hours.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in the state of Texas, in good standing.
• 2-4 years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Experience in depositions and in-court advocacy.
• Proficient in legal research tools and litigation software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar membership in the state of Texas.
