Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Of Counsel specializing in Class Action litigation for its Pittsburgh, PA office. The role involves defending agency charges of discrimination and handling a variety of employment-related claims, including wage and hour class/collective actions.

Duties

  • Handle defense of agency charges of discrimination and employment-related lawsuits.
  • Advise and train employers on employment laws and regulations.
  • Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Class Action litigation defense work.
  • Admitted to PA Bar and in good standing.
  • Experience acting as Lead Counsel.
  • Understanding of current agency enforcement techniques.

Education

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admitted to PA Bar.

Skills

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
