Job Title: Real Estate Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Sacramento, CA is seeking a dedicated Real Estate Associate Attorney with at least three years of experience in real estate law and finance, primarily focusing on commercial real estate transactions. The role involves advising and representing a wide range of clients including developers, investors, financial institutions, and contractors in transactional matters.

Duties:

  • Handle commercial real estate transactions, including project commencement, early-stage development, and financing.
  • Collaborate with litigators on real estate disputes in arbitration and before state and federal courts.
  • Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients in the real estate sector, including developers, investors, property managers, and brokers.
  • Work closely with clients to manage assets and navigate real estate-related legal challenges.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of real estate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
  • Assist with resolving disputes, mediation, and negotiations related to real estate matters.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on commercial real estate transactions.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate financing, asset management, and development.
  • Ability to handle complex real estate deals and provide legal advice on transactional matters.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the California State Bar.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the state of California.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in contract drafting, negotiation, and transactional law.
