Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking a dynamic Associate Attorney to manage litigation strategies for a high-volume consumer docket. The position is ideal for an attorney licensed in a state outside of Oklahoma but based in Oklahoma City. A multi-state license is preferred, as the role involves addressing various legal matters across jurisdictions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for consumer protection and litigation.

Duties:

  • Manage all aspects of settlement negotiations from start to finish.
  • Review and respond to court pleadings with precision and care.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring ongoing communication and satisfaction.
  • Oversee a large volume of litigation cases, ensuring timely progress and resolution.
  • Build and sustain professional relationships with opposing counsel, court personnel, and internal team members.
  • Supervise the gathering and organization of essential client documentation.
  • Address post-settlement matters to ensure smooth transitions and compliance.
  • Identify and file claims against unfair debt collection practices.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to meet the firm's needs.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of litigation experience, preferably with a focus on consumer law.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage complex legal issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using legal technology and standard office software.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • State Bar License (preferably in multiple states).
