A law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney for its Palm Springs, CA, location. The ideal candidate should possess 5 years of experience in litigation and strong verbal, writing, research, and interpersonal skills.

Job Overview:

The Litigation Attorney will be responsible for representing clients in civil litigation matters, including but not limited to discovery, depositions, motion practice, and potential trial work. The candidate must demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in various stages of civil litigation.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategy.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and mediations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation.
  • Admitted to the California Bar.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience in discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California.
