Job Overview:

Duties:

  • Prepare and file legal documents such as objections, pleadings, and administrative motions

  • Conduct and attend depositions, especially of expert witnesses

  • Represent clients at workers’ compensation hearings and administrative proceedings

  • Perform written discovery and related pre-trial activities

  • Communicate effectively with clients throughout the case progression

  • Apply working knowledge of relevant statutes, including the Workers’ Compensation Act and procedural rules

  • Maintain detailed records and utilize case-management software efficiently

  • Handle case-related administrative functions as required

Requirements:

  • Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Colorado

  • Demonstrated experience in litigation, particularly workers’ compensation

  • Comfortable managing a significant caseload in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency in legal drafting and oral advocacy

  • Familiarity with administrative court procedures and legal standards

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Colorado State Bar is required
