Job Overview:

A well-established insurance defense law firm in Orlando, FL is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney specializing in Workers' Compensation litigation. The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of experience in workers' compensation law and a strong attention to detail. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for a candidate to develop their career in workers' compensation litigation.

Location:

  • Orlando, FL

Duties:

  • Handle a caseload of workers' compensation litigation cases.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and mediations related to workers' compensation claims.
  • Collaborate with legal support staff and other attorneys to ensure case success.
  • Advise clients on legal matters and communicate regularly to provide updates on case progress.
  • Manage deadlines and ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 1-4 years of experience in workers' compensation law.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida.

Skills:

  • Strong legal research and writing abilities.
  • Knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.
