Duties

  • Conduct evidentiary hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Meet with clients to discuss discovery and negotiate pleas.

  • Participate in docket calls in state and municipal courts.
  • Perform legal investigations and prepare documents.

Requirements

  • Possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Be a licensed attorney in the state of Missouri.
  • Strong typing and technology skills.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, database software, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Effective communicator in both oral and written form.
  • Great time management and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional demeanor and excellent people skills.
  • Exercise flexibility, initiative, good judgment, and discretion.
  • Illinois law license preferred but not necessary.
  • Satisfactory results in relevant assessments.
