Job Title: Litigation Associate Attorney - Hybrid Practice

Job Overview:

Duties:

  • Conduct in-depth legal research to support a variety of complex litigation matters

  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and memoranda

  • Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials

  • Represent clients in state and federal court proceedings

  • Analyze case law and contribute to the formulation of litigation strategies

  • Collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys on major cases

  • Advise clients on potential legal issues and resolution strategies

  • Contribute to ongoing firm initiatives in litigation innovation and procedural efficiencies

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

  • Active license and good standing with a State Bar (Indiana preferred)

  • Demonstrated experience in litigation practice, including client representation in court

  • Familiarity with both state and federal legal procedures

  • Proficiency in legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis or Westlaw

  • Solid organizational capabilities and attention to detail in drafting legal documents

  • Ability to handle multiple matters and deadlines in a high-volume practice setting

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Indiana Bar (or ability to waive in or gain admission promptly)
