Duties

• Maintain membership in Kansas and Missouri State Bar Associations.
• Comply with ethical requirements and professional liability insurer standards.
• Deliver quality work and outstanding client service.
• Research and analyze legal issues.
• Draft legal documents such as briefs and contracts.
• Advise and communicate with clients regarding case status.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Prepare for and attend trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategies.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice in Kansas and Missouri.
• Strong knowledge of litigation matters.
• Excellent drafting skills with attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctorate Degree.

Certifications

• Membership in Kansas and Missouri State Bar Associations.
