A law firm seeks a full-time Associate Attorney - Pleading Review to join their team in Fairlawn, OH. The successful candidate will review complaints, letters, and other pleadings to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Client regulations. This role involves maintaining adherence to organizational protocols and may include court appearances, file management, and collections negotiations.

Duties

• Review pleadings for accurate information, including venue, balances, and correct named parties.
• Assist in legal research to ensure pleadings comply with current laws.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
• Manage files and participate in collections negotiations.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in Creditors' Rights or Collection fields preferred.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Ohio.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Education

• Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.)

Certifications

• Licensed Attorney in Ohio

Skills

• Strong pleading and complaint experience.
• Proficient in computer and word processing skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
