Job Overview:
A growing law firm is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney licensed in Oklahoma to handle a variety of matters focused on creditors’ rights, including foreclosure, bankruptcy, and replevin. This hybrid role involves legal representation of financial institutions and mortgage servicers in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with opportunities for leadership and team collaboration. The position offers long-term growth within a nationally recognized legal network.

Location:

  • Oklahoma City, OK

Duties:

  • Represent financial institutions in foreclosure, bankruptcy, and related proceedings

  • Conduct comprehensive legal reviews of loan documents and financial records

  • Draft, review, and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, and notices

  • Respond to motions and defenses from opposing parties

  • Represent clients in court (in-person and video hearings)

  • Develop legal strategies and analyze potential causes of action and defenses

  • Supervise and provide oversight to non-attorney legal staff

  • Collaborate with team members to maintain service quality and regulatory compliance

  • Support internal compliance and ethics programs

  • Contribute to team problem-solving and legal knowledge-sharing

Requirements:

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Oklahoma

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law

  • Familiarity with foreclosure, bankruptcy, and creditors' rights preferred

  • Ability to travel for court appearances and legal matters

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Oklahoma

  • Multi-state licensure (especially LA or FL) is a plus

  • Federal court admission preferred

Skills:

  • Strong legal research, analytical, and writing abilities

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and legal case management software

  • High level of organization, time management, and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and client service skills
