Creditor's Rights Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a qualified associate attorney to support its Arizona practice. This position is based in Tampa, FL, and may require travel around the state for hearing coverage. The role involves handling a significant volume of cases within the field of creditor's rights.

Duties

• Manage a high volume of mortgage foreclosure and collections cases.
• Resolve issues in discovery practice, depositions, and conflict resolution.
• Make court appearances and handle related travel as needed.
• Assist in growing the firm's presence as a top-performing firm.

Requirements

• Member in good standing of the AZ state Bar.
• Licensed or able to obtain a license in Arizona federal district and bankruptcy courts.
• 5+ years of experience in mortgage foreclosure and collections.
• Familiarity with the New York legal system.
• Strong leadership, written, and verbal communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar License in the state of AZ (required).
• Additional state licenses are a plus.

Skills

• Knowledge of TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code preferred.
• Ability to develop relationships and be viewed as a trusted partner.
