An established family law firm in Florida is seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Law Attorney to join its growing team in Tampa. This role offers an opportunity to handle high-retainer and complex family law cases in a collaborative environment with mentorship from a senior partner with over 25 years of experience.

Duties

• Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, modifications, and other related cases.

• Draft legal documents quickly and accurately, including pleadings, motions, and agreements.

• Handle court appearances, depositions, evidentiary hearings, case management conferences, mediations, and trials.

• Work closely with clients, providing guidance and legal strategies tailored to their cases.

• Collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants to ensure efficient case management.

• Stay updated on Florida family law and apply knowledge effectively in case proceedings.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 10 years of experience as a Family Law Attorney in Florida.

• Residency in the Hillsborough, Pinellas, or Pasco County area.

• Proven ability to independently move cases forward efficiently.

• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.

• Ability to handle a fast-paced workload while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Florida and in good standing with the Florida Bar.

Skills

• Strong legal drafting and research skills.

• Excellent negotiation and litigation abilities.

• High attention to detail in grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

• Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
