Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced litigation attorney to join its Los Angeles, CA office. The ideal candidate will be an active member of the California State Bar with at least two years of litigation experience, preferably in asbestos defense.

Duties

• Manage cases from initial client contact to trial under supervision.
• Prepare and respond to discovery requests.
• Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions.
• Conduct percipient and expert depositions.
• Assist with trial preparation and support.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience as a litigation attorney.
• Active member of the California State Bar.
• Experience in civil litigation or toxic tort/asbestos defense preferred.
• Proficiency in billing practices.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active California State Bar membership.
