Job Overview

A law firm seeks a talented Senior Employment Attorney to join their team in Irvine, CA. Duties

  • Lead and manage client cases to ensure high-quality outcomes under the guidance of supervising attorneys.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients and opposing counsel through email, phone, and in-person communications.
  • Accurately record and track billable hours using practice management tools.
  • Mentor and provide support to junior associates.
  • Draft, review, and revise legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct depositions and represent clients in legal proceedings when necessary.
  • Prepare legal documents and provide additional support as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, specifically in employment law.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage cases and meet deadlines.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice management software.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the California State Bar.

Skills

  • Advanced legal research and writing expertise.
  • Proficient in deposition and trial preparation.
  • Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to establish trust and rapport.
