Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its expanding Trusts & Estates Practice Group in St. Cloud, MN. The ideal candidate will have 0-5 years of experience in Trust and Estate law, with strong drafting and writing skills. Location:

Duties:

  • Drafting and preparing wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives

  • Assisting with estate planning and administration

  • Collaborating with clients and colleagues on Trust and Estate matters

  • Conducting legal research and providing legal advice related to Trusts and Estates

  • Managing client relationships and maintaining client communication

Requirements:

  • 0-5 years of experience in Trust and Estate law

  • Strong writing and drafting skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Prior experience drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives is preferred

  • Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active state bar membership (MN bar preferred)

Skills:

  • Strong legal research, writing, and drafting skills

  • Proficiency in estate planning documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, etc.)

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with clients and a legal team

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in legal work
