Job Title: Transactional Attorney

Job Overview:
A respected law firm located in Bradenton, FL is seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused transactional attorney with a background in estate planning, trust administration, probate proceedings, and corporate formation or governance. Duties:

  • Prepare, review, and revise legal documents, including:

    • Wills, trusts, healthcare directives, and powers of attorney

    • Probate filings and related estate settlement documents

    • Business formation and corporate governance paperwork

  • Conduct in-depth consultations to evaluate client needs and provide tailored legal guidance

  • Facilitate strategic estate and tax planning

  • Represent clients in probate court as needed

  • Develop and nurture relationships within the local community to foster client referrals and firm visibility

  • Collaborate with internal team members to ensure high-quality client service

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of substantive experience in estate planning, probate law, and corporate transactional work

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Florida

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, staff, and stakeholders

  • Proven track record of handling complex legal documentation with accuracy and diligence

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to building a practice within the firm

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Must be a member in good standing with the Florida Bar

Skills:

  • Strong legal drafting and analytical capabilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team setting

  • Client-focused approach with a professional demeanor

  • Business development or networking experience preferred
