Job Overview: A highly regarded law firm in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Professional Liability Attorney with 4-12 years of experience in business litigation. This position provides an exciting opportunity to handle a diverse range of professional liability matters, including malpractice cases and claims against attorneys, accountants, insurance agents, and real estate professionals. The ideal candidate will manage a full litigation caseload from inception through resolution, working closely with clients and providing exceptional legal services.

Duties:

• Manage a full litigation caseload involving professional liability matters.
• Handle cases from inception through resolution.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Participate in trials when necessary.
• Maintain communication with clients and provide status updates.
• Handle malpractice cases against attorneys, accountants, insurance agents/brokers, and real estate agents.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years of business litigation experience.
• Preferably experience in professional liability, legal malpractice, or accounting malpractice.
• Admitted to practice law in California.
• Strong academic credentials and legal expertise.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• An active member of the California State Bar.

Skills:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
• Strong analytical and legal research skills.
