A law firm seeks a lateral mid-level tax associate to join their team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of tax experience, particularly in renewable energy tax credits or corporate transactions involving private equity.

Duties

  • Provide legal advice on tax matters related to renewable energy tax credits.
  • Assist in corporate transactions and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Draft and review legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with a team to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant tax experience.
  • Strong writing and drafting skills.
  • Attention to detail and a hardworking attitude.
  • Active member of the Bar in the state of residence or ability to waive in.
  • In-office presence at least 3 business days per week.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of residence.
