Duties

• Draft and argue dispositive and discovery motions.
• Prepare and respond to written discovery.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Handle hearings in Harris County and surrounding areas.
• Participate in trial preparation, mediation, and case strategy.
• Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
• Manage a litigation docket.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice in Texas.
• 3-5 years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong legal writing and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Evidence.
• Ability to manage deadlines and communicate professionally.
• Courtroom presence and confidence.
• Experience in hospitality/TABC or premises liability is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
