Duties

• Move cases to completion in a timely manner.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and case-specific discovery requests and responses.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
• Prepare for and represent clients in trial as necessary.
• Deliver compassionate and attentive service to clients throughout the legal process.
• Develop strategic approaches to achieve favorable resolutions for clients.
• Build and maintain trusting relationships with clients.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Texas Bar Association.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in handling auto accident cases and commercial litigation.
• Proven ability to manage a full caseload diligently and efficiently.
• Knowledge of federal and state statutes, court rules, forms, processes, and procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in good standing with the Texas Bar Association.
