Job Overview

Duties

• Draft pleadings, motions, and conduct legal research.
• Oversee probate administration, including drafting applications and conducting hearings.
• Prosecute contested matters such as will contests and challenges to appointments.
• Serve as lead counsel at trials and pretrial hearings.
• Review transactional documents, including deeds, wills, and contracts.
• Enhance client service delivery through process improvement and automation.

Requirements

• Texas Bar license.
• Experience or coursework in Texas Civil Procedure.
• Experience or coursework in drafting pretrial motions and legal briefs.
• Preference for candidates with small-town roots or a desire to work in rural communities.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
